About NineCatHoops
Free tools for nine-category head-to-head fantasy basketball (each category a win or a loss): rankings, a mock draft room with computer opponents, leagues with season odds, a waiver wire, a trade machine, and an import of your Yahoo league. It started as one manager's tools for a 14-team league.
How the projections are made
Per-minute rates from the last three seasons, weighted toward the most recent, are pulled toward the league average for players with few minutes. They are combined with projected minutes and games (from a model of each player's history), and blended with this season's games as they are played. Values are z-scores in the nine categories against the draftable pool. Method: SPS 6/3/1 season weights with a 1,000-minute league-average prior; games from a linear model on his history, capped at 78. Data build: 2026-10-03. Terms are explained in the Glossary.

- Schedule, rosters, injuries and depth charts: ESPN, via the same releases.
- Offseason trades and signings: the nba-trade-mapper project.
- Yahoo leagues: Yahoo's public, read-only league data, for leagues their commissioners made publicly viewable.
- ADP shown here is a placeholder from our own rankings until market ADP is added.
